Additional training in trauma, family therapy, group processes, CBT, and Mindfulness based third wave therapies, creative and expressive therapies, and grief and loss.

Theoretical orientation:

I use a creative flexible, approach, based on relationship with the client. Marshalling the client’s resilience and creativity in the service of healing and growth is crucial. I use insight oriented, humanistic, and expressive means as well as problem solving strategies in my work. I come from a mindfulness framework and will train clients in those approaches as needed and desired. I have expertise in developmental transitions; relationship issues; career or creative development; depression and anxiety; a history of trauma or abuse; grief and loss; family problems; identity issues; academic problems; social anxiety.
