Our Services: Individuals and Couples
Individual Psychotherapy is a unique relationship in which you and your therapist meet one on one to explore what emotional challenges are holding you back from living your life more fully –either in relationships, family, career, creatively, or spiritually. TCP offers short and long term individual psychotherapy. You may meet weekly with their therapist and can focus on one specific goal or explore a deeper theme in your life. Our hope is to create a safe environment where you can bring up any challenges you are having and grow to understand and relate to them in new ways. Through this work, you will begin to feel stronger, more empowered, or resolved.
When you are struggling in a relationship, often it can be helpful to talk with a therapist about where you are getting stuck. Therapists will listen for patterns and explore how you manage anger, disappointment, and vulnerability. Therapists will help you see your strengths as a couple and why you might be experiencing this friction. We can teach you how to better manage conflict and effectively disagree, build communication skills, and create a healthier sex life. Couples therapy is often useful around significant couple events such as entering into a formal commitment, trying to start a family, changing your living situation, or going through a divorce. including heterosexual, same sex, transgender, polyamorous, and non-monogamous couples.
